| Answering to the People | Completed All Myths | Myths are the side quests in Nioh 3, and all of them will be marked on your map as you progress through the game's different worlds and regions. The only exception is the Yokai Horde Picture Scroll and Seeking Rare Yokai myths, which are hidden. You can start the former in the Kamo Village region in Heian. Look for a well with some black mist, interact with it, and kill the yokai to summon the quest giver. The latter can be started in the bottom right corner of Bakumasu near the Dilapidated Temple shrine. You can only start this quest after completing the Yokai Horde Picture Scroll myth. |

| Arts Proficiency | Defeated 10 enemies with a Strong Attack or a Martial Art enhanced via Arts Proficiency. | This is the gauge in the bottom right corner of the screen that fills up as you perform attacks while in Samurai form. Once full, the next heavy attack will become enhanced through Arts Proficiency. You can tell when this is happening because your weapon will have a blueish-white glow to it. This move must be the final blow on any enemy 10 times. |
| Ninjutsu | Defeated 10 enemies with Ninjustu | These are the various gadgets, magic spells, and items that the Ninja form can use. On controller, you can use these via holding the right bumper and then any of the face buttons. You can customize your Ninjustu in the menu. I recommend weakening foes with standard attacks and then finishing them off with a Ninjustu art to ensure an easy kill. |
| Burst Break | Successfully activated a Burst Break 10 times. | A core mechanic of Nioh 3, Burst Break is when you swap between forms when an enemy is about to hit you with a move that has a deep red aura around it. Swapping forms with the right trigger moments before an enemy makes contact with your character model will perform a Burst Break and stun them. |
| Crucible Arts Adopted | Learn a Martial Art from a Crucible weapon for the first time. | To achieve this, you will need to acquire a Crucible weapon, which is a piece of gear that has a random chance to drop while in any Crucible. It will have a skill marked with a red skull in your inventory. You then need to just consistently use that weapon to achieve final killing blows on enemies. This fills up a gauge on the weapon and, eventually, causes you to learn a Martial Art from it. |
| Yokai Manipulator | Used a Summoning Seal to summon a yokai for the first time. | Tied to Soul Cores, once you earn one from defeating an enemy, you can equip it at any shrine. Upon doing this, you can use your D-Pad to use a Summoning Seal, which causes the yokai to pop out and attack an enemy. Upon doing this, you will earn the achievement. |
| Guardian Spirit's Aid | Successfully activated a Guardian Spirit Skill Burst Break for the first time. | This ability is unlocked after completing the story mission, A Fiery Invasion. Once obtained, you can perform a Burst Break by using any of a Guardian's Spirit skill by pressing the right bumper and one of two different face buttons. Doing so will counter an enemy and perform a Guardian Spirit Skill Burst. |
| Devotee | Unlocked all named shrines and Bodhisattva Statues. | All you need to do is unlock all the shrines, both in and out of the Crucible. These are marked on your map by green dots (or shrine icons if you're zoomed in). Remember, you need to get close to the shrine for it to be considered unlocked! |
| Explorer | Raised your Exploration Level to 4 in any area. | This can be done in any region of any of the open world maps. You increase an Exploration Level by completing myths, destroying Crucible Spikes, and finding collectibles. The Exploration Level of a region is displayed under the name of the region when you highlight it on your map. |
| Masterful Pupil | Defeated a master for the first time. | Masters are human opponents that you'll discover as you progress through the various timelines and open worlds. They are boss battles and defeating them will unlock unique skills for specific weapons. Here's a guide on how to defeat one of the first Masters you will encounter. |
| A God Among Men | Defeated all the masters. | There are 13 Masters you must defeat to unlock this achievement. Some of these can only be accessed later in the game once you gain specific Guardian Spirits, which allow you to traverse certain terrain. |
| Latest Masterpiece | Forged an item for the first time. | Once you unlock the Eternal Rift, go to the blacksmith and select the "Forge" option. Pick any piece of gear and forge it to unlock this trophy. Remember, you will need to disassemble equipment you don't need, as they will provide you with various crafting materials needed to forge. |
| Match Made in Heaven | Performed a Soul Match for the first time. | After completing the myth "A Fierce Flame," you will gain access to the Soul Match mechanic at the blacksmith. Select this tab among her options and then use the Soul Match to raise the level of any piece of gear to unlock this achievement. Similar to forging, you will need materials called Soul Cores, which are obtained via committing gear to the Soul Extraction tab. |
| Remodeler | Remodeled a piece of equipment for the first time. | After you unlock the Eternal Rift, select the "Remodel" option at the blacksmith and then pick any attribute on a piece of gear to remodel. |
| Armor's Real Value | Activated all set bonus effects for an equipment set. | Throughout Nioh 3, you will encounter gear with set bonuses. An example is a weapon with Imagawa Regent in green text in the attributes section. Equipping all the armor and weapons in a set will complete this achievement. |
| Keen-Eyed | Pet a Chijiko for the first time. | Chijiko are floating ferrets on large white balls hovering throughout the open world. Shooting the ball will cause the ferret to appear at your feet. Interact with it to pet the animal. |
| Eagle-Eyed | Pet all Chijiko | You will need to find all the Chijiko on each of the maps. Here is our guide if you're looking to snag this trophy. |
| Unimpeded | Used all methods to traverse Spirit Veins. | This is another achievement you will almost certainly unlock by just playing. Throughout the game you will obtain different Guardian Spirits, which offer unique traversal abilities. These abilities need to be used once at the various Spirit Veins marked on the open world maps throughout the game. |
| Teamwork | Completed three missions during Expeditions or with NPCs. | You can complete this trophy by either completing three missions in Co-op mode with another player or summoning NPC versions of player characters at the blue graves with swords sticking out of them. |
| A Scampuss's Best Friend | Traded a furball with a Scampuss in the Eternal Rift for the first time. | After you unlock the Eternal Rift, you will gain access to the Great Scampuss. Once this happens, go find a Scampuss in any open world, which is a rotund cat that rolls away from you. Chasing it until it stops and interacting with the cat will earn you a furball. You can then bring this back to the Great Scampuss and trade it in. |
| Scampuss Enthusiast | Pet all the Scampusses. | For this achievement, you will just need to locate and pet every Scampuss in the game. Here's our location guide if you are struggling to find them. |
| Spa Healer | Bathed in your first hot spring. | Hot springs are pseudo collectibles you can find throughout the game that will give you a temporary buff and heal you when bathing in them. You just need to bathe in one hot spring to complete this achievement. |
| Spa Lover | Bathed in every hot spring. | To unlock this, all you need to do is bathe in all the hot springs in the game. Here is our guide if you are struggling to locate all of them in Nioh 3. |
| Kodama Leader | Guided all the Kodama home. | Kodama are the little green guys in the cute hats you'll find hidden throughout the game. Interacting with one will send the Kodama back to your shrine. Here is our guide on locating all the Kodama. |
| Visiting the Six Jizo | Prayed at all of the Six Jizo. | Throughout the different maps you will come across statues you can pray at. These are the Six Jizo and visiting all of them will earn you this trophy. Here's our guide for locating each statue. |
| Soul Core Owner | Purified a Soul Core for the first time. | To complete this, you will need to first earn a Soul Core, which is a big, red heart that has a chance to drop from any enemy in the game. Once obtained, you must bring it back to a shrine without dying. Doing so will purify the Soul Core and complete this achievement. |
| Base Captured | Captured an enemy base for the first time. | Enemy bases are objectives you will encounter throughout Nioh 3's open world. They are marked with a red oni icon on your map. Entering an enemy base will display a number of enemies that have to be killed in the area. Doing so and opening the chest will mark a base as captured. |
| Total Control | Captured all enemy bases. | To complete this achievement, you will need to capture all 26 enemy bases throughout the different open worlds. |
| Lesser Crucible Cleanser | Purified a Lesser Crucible Spike. | Lesser Crucible Spikes are marked on your map by a red fire icon. You can purify them by destroying the yokai protecting the spike and then interacting with the spike to strike it with your sword. |
| Lesser Crucible Eradicator | Purified all Lesser Crucibles. | Similar to all the other collectibles and objectives in the game, you just need to purify all the Lesser Crucible Spikes throughout the different maps. |
| Kunimatsu's Pride | Defeated the Demon of Pride and glimpsed Kunimatsu's emotions. | The Demon of Pride is an optional boss you can encounter in the Warring States. Go to the Iinoya region and then head north of the Sengan Waterfall shrine to the spirit vein. Make your way to the Golden Chest icon and beat the boss to complete this achievement. |
| Kunimatsu's Envy | Defeated the Demon of Envy and glimpsed Kunimatsu's emotions. | Similar to the Demon of Envy, you can find this boss in the Hachijo region in Heian. Killing the Demon of Envy will unlock this trophy. |
| Kunimatsu's Obsession | Defeated the Demon of Obsession and glimpsed Kunimatsu's emotions. | The last of the three hidden bosses you need to kill, you can find the Demon of Envy in Bakumatsu in the Nijo Castle region. This is in the western portion of the region by the Mibu Temple shrine. |
| Senji Toyo | Recovered the blacksmith's memory. | To unlock this achievement, you will need to complete the myth Memories in the Blade, which you can obtain after killing the Great Tengu Boss and then talking to the blacksmith. |
| Ruckus in the Sanctuary | In "Black Feather Sanctuary," drove out all crows from Matsuo-taisha Shrine and defeated Otoroshi. | In the Heian map, you will need to shoot the three massive crows that fire projectiles at you in the Black Feather Sanctuary mission. There's one at the start of the mission, one along the cliffs, and another inside the main complex. Hitting them with enough arrows or bullets will cause the crows to leave. If you missed this during your main playthrough, you can always replay the mission in your Battle Scrolls. |
| Pain, Pain, Go Away | In "A Sinister End," repelled all of Murakumo's attacks. | The final mission in the game, you will need to shoot the lightning-casting bird until it leaves. This bird will appear multiple times throughout the mission, so make sure to save your ranged ammo to ensure you can shoot it every time it pops up. If you ever mess up, you can always replay this mission in the Battle Scrolls. |
| Distant Memories | Bathed with Himiko in "Dark Roots," then recalled Naotora's incident in "Apparition of Ryotan Temple." | This is a bit of a weird achievement, but you will first need to make your way through the "Dark Roots," mission and bathe in the hot spring outside the boss's room. Sit in the water until Himiko's dialogue is exhausted, then continue and kill the boss. Now go to your Battle Scroll and select the "Apparition of Ryotan Temple" mission and play through it until you find the hot spring. Bathe in this to cause Himiko to speak with you and unlock the achievement. |
| Like-Minded Friends | In "Seeking Rare Yokai," satisfied Toriyama Sekien with a painting of Kusanagi. | Found within the "Seeking Rare Yokai" mission, you will need to first complete the Yokai Horde Picture Scroll and Seeking Rare Yokai myths. Completing these will give you access to Seeking Rare Yokai, which can be found in Bakumastu. At the end of the mission, you'll paint a picture of a Guardian Spirit which unlocks this trophy. |
| Dung Ball Roller | Helped Tatsumaro the Dung Lover connect with Takechiyo. | For this achievement, you will need to first complete the Putrid Paradise myth which is in the Hachijo region in Heian. Look for a samurai standing on a roof who is stuck in the poison swamp. Complete his quest to unlock the Dung Lover in the Eternal Rift. Speak to him by going down the ladder behind the blacksmith. He will ask you to acquire Dung Balls, which are items that randomly drop from enemies when they die. Bring him 30 Dung Balls to complete this quest. |
| Nothing Left to Learn | Completed veteran missions with Yagyu Munenori and Hattori Hanzo. | Your final achievement is available upon reaching the Bakumatsu region. Go to the eternal rift and speak to Hanzo and Yagyu to obtain their Veteran missions. These can be accessed in your shrine and are only unlocked after you beat their Novice and Adept missions first. Beating both veteran missions will unlock this trophy. |
